 Alex Cora fired as Red Sox manager amid last-place AL East slump, Chad Tracy named interim replacement     Alex Cora has been fired as manager of the Boston Red Sox as the team sits in last place in the American League East, ending a turbulent second tenure that followed both historic success and years of roster turnover. Cora, who played on Boston’s 2007 World Series championship team and later guided the club to a franchise-record 108 wins and a title in 2018, will be replaced on an interim basis by Chad Tracy, who had been managing the team’s Triple-A affiliate in Worcester. The organization also announced several changes to the major league coaching staff, including departures of multiple assistants and coordinators, as part of a broader shakeup. AN AMERICAN FEMALE TOURIST,WAS MAULED TO DEATH BY A LION,IN JOHANNESBURG LION PARK TODAY.

                        According to the Johannesburg Police spokesman Lungelo Dlamini said an American tourist was mauled to death in South Africa today monday when a Lion jumped into her vehicle through an open window vehicle at a park on the outskirts of Johannesburg.She was driving with a male person at the park,they were attacked by the lion,she was killed at the park and the man has been taken to Hospital.We do not have a name for the 22 year old woman or what part of the United States she was from.Her traveling companion was a South African citizen.Scott Simpson Lion Park Assistant Director of Operation said that ''The woman died while paramedics tried to save her.The gentleman sustained some injuries to his arm,he was fighting the lion off inside the car.Our staff rshed over immediately and chased the lion away from the car''.
