INDEPENDENT CORRUPT PRACTICES AND OTHER RELATED OFFENCES COMMISSION (ICPC) Tuesday 16th December, 2025 MEDIA RELEASE The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) writes to confirm that it received a formal petition today Tuesday 16th December, 2025 from Alhaji Aliko Dangote through his lawyer. The petition is against the CEO of the NMDPRA, Alhaji Farouk Ahmed. The ICPC wishes to state that the petition will be duly investigated. John Okor Odey Spokesperson ICPC
According to the BBC in a report on June 3rd,they posted two pictures in which Nigerian 1st Lady Aisha Buhari was wearing a watch estimated at N10 million during the inauguration of her husband.BBC wrote it these way ''In March,Muhammadu Buhari was elected as Nigeria's new president after a campaign which took a strong anti-corruption stance.Buhari underlined his humble credentials by raising money from ordinary voters.He even had to stretch his finances to pay the fee to register as a candidate.This image was diluted some what when his wife,Aisha Buhari,was pictured wearing an expensive looking watch at her husband's inauguration last week and these images were shared on the instagram of the photographer George Okoro.Nigeria press described it as a Catier Baignoire Folle 18 carat white gold diamond time piece that was estimated to cost around $50,000 more than 30,000 pounds or about 10 million Nigerian naira.Others however,pointed out that the knockoff version are available as little as $100''.What do you think about these new controversy?.What if she really bought it in a knock off store,is that a sin or she might have had it for a while before the campaign and being a 1st lady.One more picture below.
