World’s Youngest Reigning Monarch , King Oyo, Dies at 34 King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, the traditional ruler of Uganda’s Tooro Kingdom who became the world’s youngest reigning monarch after ascending the throne at three, has died at the age of 34. The monarch reportedly died on Thursday, with the Prime Minister of the Tooro Kingdom, Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire Akiiki, announcing his death on Friday. The cause of death was not immediately disclosed. However, Ugandan media reports quoted a government minister as saying that King Oyo had been critically ill and was receiving medical treatment in the United States. Reacting to the development, Akiiki described the monarch’s death as a major loss to the royal family and the people of Tooro. He urged members of the kingdom to remain united and calm while mourning the traditional ruler. Today friday,it was reported that at least nineteen people have died after an attack on a hotel in the Tunisian beach resort of Sousse.The attacks was on the Imperial Marhaba Hotel.A security source at the scene said the body of one gunmen armed with a Kalashnikov assault rifle lay where police had shot him dead.It was unclear whether there were other assailants.Tunisia has been on high alert since March when militants killed 22 people,mainly foreign tourists,in an attack on a museum in the capital Tunis.Sousse is one of Tunisia's most popular beach resorts,drawing visitors from Europe and neighbouring North African countries.More photos below from the attack.
