 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.                  He just announced that he will resign as president of FIFA,concerning a major international scandal involving 14 senior FIFA officials accepting 10 million dollars in bribe from the South African government.Sepp Blatter said ''I only want to do the best for FIFA and my institution.I decided to stand again as the best option for football.The elections are closed but the challenges we face haven't come to an end.FIFA needs restructuring.Although FIFA have given me a new mandate,it doesn't seem to be supported by everyone fans,clubs,those who inspired FIFA like we do''.Since last week the FBI in the United States has charged 14 with high level official corruption.After 17 years,Sepp Blatter announced that he will intiate an ''Extraordinary Congress'' to find his successor.
