Kanye West Former Exec Milo Yiannopoulos Deported by ICE, Flown Back to UK Right-wing commentator and former Kanye West executive Milo Yiannopoulos has been deported from the US and returned to the United Kingdom after being detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). According to federal law enforcement sources cited by TMZ, Yiannopoulos was taken from a holding facility in Alexandria, Louisiana, and transported to another state airport where he boarded a flight to the UK. ICE confirmed with UK authorities that he had arrived. A Department of Homeland Security spokesperson also confirmed he was deported “back to his home country.” Yiannopoulos was arrested by ICE on Thursday night after landing at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. He was then moved to the Louisiana facility for undocumented detainees awaiting removal. A federal judge issued him a final removal order on July 22, 2026, after he overstayed his authorized period.                          Today June 12,i remembered very well in 1993,then i was still in primary school,how Lagos was in chaos and all my fellow Igbo brothers and sisters were running back home after M.K.O Abiola's presidential win was annulled by General Ibrahim Babangida.So now,Lagos state Governor Akinwunmi Ambode,Prof Akin Oyebode and other activists have challenged President Muhammadu Buhari,to declare June 12 as Democracy Day in the country to immortalise the acclaimed winner of the June 12,1993 Presidential election the late Chief Moshood Kashimao Olawale Abiola.Abode and other activist made these statement today friday at the June 12 rally at the Lagos Television Ground,Ikeja in Lagos.''The June 12 should be declared Democracy Day in Nigeria to honour Abiola.The hope of the people was dashed when the June 12 election was annulled by General Ibrahim Babangida,and what the nation now enjoyed today was rooted in June 12.June 12 personifies our desire to liberate ourselves and take care of our destiny.June 12 symbolises the patriotism of all Nigerians as the election fired up hope in the mind of the people.Lagos has continued to be the hub of Decratic ideas and we will continue to expand the frontiers of democratic governance and freedom of our people.June 12 should be declared the real democracy day''.
