 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. Estranged: Morgan claims he has not seen his sister in two years, pictured in 1991                 Mariah Carey's brother has raised alarm that his sister might die like Whitney Houston,due to her drinking and he clsims he has not seen her sober.Mariah and her brother Morgan has not spoken to themselves for the past 2 years,but his afraid Mariah Carey is unable to care for her four year old twins Moroccan and Monroe because he believes she is trying to numb her problems with wine and champagne.Her brother alleged that she has been a heavy drinker since suffering from mental health problems in 2001.He said ''Mariah was drinking through her pregnancy even while she was nursing.I can't say that i have ever been around when she was sober,and that's very scary.She does not have a support system,and she is not mentally capable.She takes a daily cocktail of medications including Zyprexa,Ativan and Depakote.I fear she will die like Whitney Houston''.One more photo below.                                                He says it was a sham: Morgan went on to allege that the father of Mariah's twins, Nick Cannon, married her for her money, the family pictured in October 2012 at the Santa Monica Pier in California

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
