 Wike is not working against PDP – Bode George Elder statesman and a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Bode George, has affirmed that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, is a bona fide member of the party. George added that Wike, a former Governor of Rivers State, had written a letter to the party, stating his intention to work in the ruling All Progressive Congress government led by President Bola Tinubu. The former National Vice Chairman of the PDP (Southwest) gave the insights on the accusations that Wike was working against the PDP, during his interview on the News Day programme on Arise TV on Tuesday. When asked if the minister is working against the party, George said, “That’s exactly what I’m driving at. They (Wike and Atiku) just didn’t get out in different directions, something happened.                             According to the Nigerian Consul General in South Africa,Ambassador Uche Agulu Okeke,said that arrangement have been made,concluded to host president Muhammadu Buhari when he visits South Africa at the weekend.He said Buhsri would be in South Africa to attend the African Union summit holding between saturday and monday.The consulate would host the meeting between the Nigerian community and Buhari.She said all necessary arrangements had been made to ensure that Buhari's visit to South Africa was smooth.The President of the Nigerian Union,South Africa,Ikechukwu Anyene,also said Nigerians in the nine provinces of South Africa had been mobolised to receive Buhari during his visit.''It is an opportunity for Nigerians,resident in South Africa to meet our new president for the first time and we eargerly awaiting the visit''.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
