 Brazil’s former president Bolsonaro hospitalized in intensive care with pneumonia, officials say   Brazil’s former President Jair Bolsonaro is being treated in an intensive care unit in Brasilia after developing pneumonia, hospital officials said Friday. Doctors described the 70-year-old’s condition as serious, warning that pneumonia in older patients can progress to septicemia if bacteria enter the bloodstream. Bolsonaro was transferred from prison after experiencing high fever, chills, vomiting, and low oxygen levels, his eldest son, Flávio Bolsonaro, said on X. The hospital confirmed bronchopneumonia, likely caused by aspiration, and said he is receiving intravenous antibiotics and non-invasive support. Bolsonaro is serving a 27-year sentence for attempting a coup following his 2022 election defeat, and hospital staff noted it is unlikely he will return to prison in the coming days due to the need for ongoing IV treatment.                 It was reported today that one 18 year old girl {name with-held} killed her own mother in Rmuchakara village in Choba community,Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers state.A source close to the family said that,disagreement had ensued between the 18 year old girl and her mother on wednesday evening after the mother had asked her to go and prepare the night meal.The 18 year old girl protested that she would not cook and that made her mother to slap her.After her mother slapped her for refusing to cooking,the 18 year old girl,picked up a plank and smashed her mother's head.Every effort made to save her mothers life,was not successful because her mother sustained serious injury to the head.The where-about of the 18 year old girl,is yet to be known since the news of her mothers death was known to everybody yesterday thursday,but the leaders of the community have passed a decree that the young girl should not return to the community anymore.We are still waiting for the report from the Nigerian police.
