 *ANAMBRA SECURITY:  GUNSHOT IN UKWULU WAS AS A RESULT OF DISAGREEMENT AMONG SIBLINGS: POLICE CONTAINS THE SITUATION, RESCUES VICTIM, ARRESTS TWO SUSPECTS  AND RECOVERS ONE AK47 RIFLE, ONE PISTOL AND SIX ROUNDS OF AMMUNITION.* In the evening of 12th April 2025, Police Operatives attached to the Special Anti-Cultism Squad Enugu-Ukwu responded swiftly at the scene of a shooting incident in Ukwulu and prevented the situation from escalating further.  The Operatives rescued a victim with a gunshot injury, recovered one AK47 rifle, one pistol, and six (6) rounds of live  ammunition. Two suspects were also arrested at the scene. Meanwhile, the suspects are already undergoing, Police interrogations while the victim was taken to the hospital and is responding to medical treatment. READ HOW A 18 YEAR OLD GIRL,KILLED HER OWN MOTHER ON WEDNESDAY IN RIVERS STATE.

                It was reported today that one 18 year old girl {name with-held} killed her own mother in Rmuchakara village in Choba community,Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers state.A source close to the family said that,disagreement had ensued between the 18 year old girl and her mother on wednesday evening after the mother had asked her to go and prepare the night meal.The 18 year old girl protested that she would not cook and that made her mother to slap her.After her mother slapped her for refusing to cooking,the 18 year old girl,picked up a plank and smashed her mother's head.Every effort made to save her mothers life,was not successful because her mother sustained serious injury to the head.The where-about of the 18 year old girl,is yet to be known since the news of her mothers death was known to everybody yesterday thursday,but the leaders of the community have passed a decree that the young girl should not return to the community anymore.We are still waiting for the report from the Nigerian police.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
