 Again, Gov Diri Tasks Traditional Rulers To Maintain Peace, Security At King Awala's Coronation  Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, has again urged traditional rulers to remain focused on the maintenance of peace, security and stability in their various domains as part of their contribution towards the development of the state. Governor Diri made the call at the weekend during the coronation ceremony ofHis Royal Majesty King Victor Awala, Ebeni-Ibe the Eighth (VIII) of Atissa Kingdom in the Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, at the Bishop Dimieari Grammar School, Yenagoa, the state capital. Represented by his deputy, Dr Peter Akpe, the Bayelsa Chief Executive acknowledged the critical role traditional rulers play in society as the custodians of culture and tradition, stressing that his administration will continue to hold them in high esteem. READ HOW 60 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES YESTERDAY IN ONITSHA,AFTER A FUEL TANKER CRASHED INTO A BUILDING.

                          It was a black sunday yesterday for the residents of Onitsha Anambra state,when a fuel tanker rammed into a building and caused an inferno.The incident happened around Upper Iweka Round-about.It was gathered that no fewer than 60 persons,including a pregnant woman and some children,were burnt by the fire,which also consumed about 15 buses.It was learnt that some newspaper free readers at a newsstand were among the victims.One of the eyewitnesses said the driver of the tanker was descending the Upper Iweka Road from the Enugu Nkpor Road when he lost control of the vehicle.''We learnt that the tanker suffered a rake failure and the driver lost control.I think he tried to stop the vehicle with some of the barriers on the road,but unfortunately the tanker rammed into a building and fell.The tanker caught fire 10 minutes after ramming into the building.The tanker was on its way to Asaba in Delta state when the incident happened''.May their soul rest in peace,AMEN.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
