Marissa Bode was 'denied boarding a flight because I'm disabled' Marissa Bode, best known for her role in Wicked, shared on TikTok that she was recently denied boarding a Southern Airways flight because of her wheelchair. She explained that when she asked gate agents for help locating her boarding pass, they questioned whether she could stand. After she said no, they told her she could not board since all of the airline’s planes require passengers to climb stairs. Bode described the experience as “blatant segregation,” criticizing the airline for failing to accommodate disabled travelers. Southern Airways’ contract of carriage states that passengers must be able to ascend and descend steps to board, and because its planes carry fewer than 28 passengers, the airline is exempt from providing lifts under the Air Carrier Access Act. There has been crazy post all over the internet on how some white cops forcefully harassed some black youths from a pool party in Texas.The arrest was raising alot of discriminatory articles on the internet,so the Mckinny Police Department said that ''Officers responded to a disturbance call at a community pool involving juveniles who do not live in the area or have permission to be there.The disturbance happened after a racially charged incident involving Black teens,where residents told them to leave the area and go back to section 8 housing''.During the arrest of the Black youths,a 14 year old white teenager was recording it.In the video,Mckinney patrol supervisor CPL Eric Casebolt,a 10 year veteran and a vice president for the FOP lodge,was seen walking up a black teenage girl and allegedly forced her into the ground.He later allegedly pulled a gun on young un-armed male that approached him during the incident and pointed it at a number of people nearby.The video also showed CPL Casebolt placing both of his knees and resting his body weighr onto the young lady's back as she laid face down on the ground.Other footage showed a number of black teens,either placed in handcuffs or being accosted by other officers on the scene.On sunday,Casebolt was placed on administrative suspension while authorities investigate his actions while responding to the disturbance.At this point instances of alleged police brutality against black people,have been established.More photos below.
