 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026. •Obiageli who stabbed medical doctor to death in Ajegunle                    The 36 year old woman identified as Obiageli Oriuwa,stabbed her husbands younger brother Doctor Ikechukwu Oriuwa to death because she wanted him out of his father's house.She is married to the doctor's elder brother and they both lived in the 52 Ladiga Ajegunle with their wives and children.She had been allegedly fighting him to leave the house with his family because she claimed that the house belonged to her husband,since he was the first son of their father.On that day of the incident,Obiageli allegedly got a knife and stabbed Ikechukwu on the chest and he bled profusely and collapsed.He died before he was taken to a hospital..The mother of four was arraigned yesterday tuesday before Justice Raliatu Adebiyi,High Court Igbosere,following the report of Directorate of Public Prosecution,DPP.The DPP report indicted Obiageli and directed her to face trial over the death of Ikechukwu.Obiageli was kept in prison custoday at Kirikiri after she was charged before a Lagos Magistrate court and her file was sent to DPP for advice.Obiageli allegedly stabbed the 37 year old medical doctor to death at their family house at 52 Ladega street,Ajegunle in Apapa,Lagos state during an arguement between them last year.She was initially arrested by the police at Tolu Division after the incident and the matter was transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department SCID,Panti,Yaba,for further investigation.A member of the victim's family,Chineu Oriuwa,earlier alleged that it was not the first time Obiageli attempted to kill Ikechukwu.She had asked the doctor and his family to move out of the family house several times.Chinedu said though the matter was settled between them,Obiageli still coninued to nurse animosity against everybody in the house,including their mother who has now travelled abroad.When the matter came up on tuesday,it was further adjourned till 8th of July for trial.
