 I Don’t Wish It On You – Genevieve Nnaji Knocks Trolls Age-shaming Her Veteran Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji has responded to social media trolls who made age-shaming comments about her. According to Naija News, a user on X reacted to Genevieve's post on April 3, 2025, stating that she couldn't escape aging and was getting older. The comment read, “You really cannot cheat nature. My fine wine is finally growing old.” In her reply, Genevieve pointed out that things could be worse; she could age significantly and eventually die if she were fortunate. She wrote, “It gets worse, bro. I’ll get so old I’ll die. If I’m lucky.” Another troll referred to her as “mummy,” suggesting she was old, but Genevieve quickly dismissed the comment, saying she wouldn’t wish old age on him. STEPHEN KESHI,TO BE INVESTIGATED BY NIGERIAN FOOTBALL FEDERATION.

                The Ivorian Football Federation {FIF} has released a list of 59 coaches who applied to Coach the country's national football team,the Elephants.Listed among the applicants is Super Eagles coach,Stephen Keshi,who the Nigeria football Federation handed a new deal in April.Keshi,listed number 20 on the list of applicants is one of two African coaches jostling to coach the Elephants,the other being Ivorian Yelato Silue,number 4 on the list.Most of the 57 coaches are Europeans.The Nigeria Football Federation {NFF} confirmed it will investigate reports that national team coach Stephen Keshi applied to manage Ivory coast.On friday,the Ivorian Football Federation {FIF} announced it had received 59 applications in the race to succeed Herve Renard.The list will be then be narrowed down to three who will be interviewed.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
