 71-year-old landlord arrested for impregnating tenant’s teenage daughter The Ogun State Police Command said it had arrested a septuagenarian landlord, identified simply as Adesina, for allegedly defiling and impregnating his tenant’s 14-year-old girl (name withheld) at Akegbeyale Street in Ifesowapo Akute, Ifo Local Government Area of the state. PUNCH Metro learnt that the residents and other tenants were thrown into a state of shock when the septuagenarian suspect was found on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, having sexual intercourse with the 14-year-old girl at about 10:15 pm in the house bathroom. The minor, according to a police source who was part of the team that arrested the 71-year-old suspect but was not permitted to speak for the command, was said to have made her way to the apartment’s bathroom to take a shower. STEPHEN KESHI,TO BE INVESTIGATED BY NIGERIAN FOOTBALL FEDERATION.

                The Ivorian Football Federation {FIF} has released a list of 59 coaches who applied to Coach the country's national football team,the Elephants.Listed among the applicants is Super Eagles coach,Stephen Keshi,who the Nigeria football Federation handed a new deal in April.Keshi,listed number 20 on the list of applicants is one of two African coaches jostling to coach the Elephants,the other being Ivorian Yelato Silue,number 4 on the list.Most of the 57 coaches are Europeans.The Nigeria Football Federation {NFF} confirmed it will investigate reports that national team coach Stephen Keshi applied to manage Ivory coast.On friday,the Ivorian Football Federation {FIF} announced it had received 59 applications in the race to succeed Herve Renard.The list will be then be narrowed down to three who will be interviewed.

He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
