 PRESS RELEASE  FG Commends  Diaspora Healthcare Professionals' Medical Missions to Nigeria  The Federal Government has commended efforts by diaspora based Nigerian healthcare professionals to improve healthcare in Nigeria, emphasizing it's crucial support to enhance its sustainability. Dr. Iziaq Adekunle Salako Honourable Minister of State for Health & Social Welfare stated at the gala night of the just concluded Association of Nigerian Physicians in Americas (ANPA)  31st Annual Scientific Convention / 30 years anniversary celebration held at Eko Hotel, Victoria Island Lagos. A MAN AHMED,SET HIS GIRLFRIENDS SHOP ON FIRE YESTERDAY IN SATELITE TOWN.

                According to the official Nigerian Police website,the site said that ''A police detective are on the trail of a man simply known as Ahmed who allegedly set the shop of his girlfriend {name withheld} ablaze on 19th July,2015 at about 7:25am over a misunderstanding.The shop is located at Imore Community,Satelite town.One male victim that sustained fire burns as a result of the inferno was taken to Navy Reference Hospital for medical attention.State CIID Panti Yaba is investigating''.More info will be added later.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
