 Abia Govt Warns School Heads: Stop Illegal Fees or Face Dismissal The Abia State Government has issued a stern warning to school heads and principals, threatening dismissal for anyone found collecting unauthorized fees in public schools, in violation of the state’s free education policy. Information Commissioner Prince Okey Kanu, speaking after the weekly Executive Council meeting, reiterated that education is free from primary to JSS3, while students in SS1 to SS3 are only required to pay a reduced fee of ₦3,300. He emphasized that routine school expenses are now covered by government imprest funds, eliminating any excuse for illegal levies, and warned that offenders risk losing their jobs. Kanu also announced reforms in the education sector, including training for 2,200 teachers by the Education Reformation and Innovation Team (ERIT) and the conclusion of teacher recruitment interviews for 7,000 qualified applicants and 180 persons with disabilities. BILL COSBY ADMITS HE USES SEDATIVES ON WOMEN,BEFORE SLEEPING WITH THEM.

                                                                                                        This was contained in a document as far back as 2005.The documents was obtained by the Associated Press and Bill Cosby admitted in the document that he has given the sedative to at least one women and other people.The unsealed files shows Mr Cosby,now 77 year old,made the admission in a sex abuse civil case brought by a woman.The 77 year old comedian was testifying under oath in a law suit filed by a former Temple University employee.He testified he gave her three half pills of Benadryl.Bill Cosby is said to have settled that sexual abuse law suit for undisclosed terms in 2006.Bill Cosby is facing a series of sexual assault accusations,dating back decades.He has denied the claims,though he has never been criminally charged.Most of the claims of sexual assault are barred by statutes o limitations.They restrict the length of time in which legal actions can be taken after an alleged crime has been committed.Mr Cosby's lawyers said that at least two of those accusing the comedian had knowingly taken the sedative.Associated Press went to court to compel the release of the documents,despite objections by Cosby's lawyers that the papers would embarrass their client and reveal personal information.The case was brought by Andrea Constand,a former employee of Temple University the Philadelphia college with which Mr Cosby was once closely associated.
