Setting the Records Straight on Citizen Asar Michael Sesugh's Death The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, considered it imperative to clear the air on some recent incidents at its Makurdi Zonal Directorate, Benue State. Operatives of the Directorate arrested 26 suspected cyber fraudsters on April 28, 2026. They were profiled and kept in custody for further investigations after obtaining a Remand Order at a Magistrate Court. Shortly after their arrest, specifically on May 4, 2026, three of the suspects sought permission to use the lavatory at the Directorate's Holding Facility and were permitted. They cashed in on the opportunity, broke the toilet's roof and escaped from detention. Several efforts were made to re- arrest them to no avail. According to a Disney spokeswoman who said a bronze statue of Comedian Bill Cosby was removed from the world theme park in Florida overnight.The spokes woman said the bronze statue is part of an out door exhiit at Disney's Hollywood studios park in Orlando,that honours members of the Television Academy Hall of Fame,was taken away after the park closed yesterday tuesday.Disney gave no reason for the removal but it came a day after the testimony of his 2005 sexual assault civil case in which Cosby said he had obtained Quaalude sedatives with the intent of giving them to young women with whom he wanted to have sex.Some 40 women have come forward in the past yearto accuse the once beloved star of TV comedy series ''The Cosby show'',of drugging and sexually assaulting them in incidents dating back decades.Though 77 year old Cosby has not been criminally charged,and his attorneys have consistently denied the allegations.However,his career has taken a hit with TV projects and live shows being cancelled.All other Stars statues like Oprah Winfrey,Walt Disney himself,Dick Clark etc are still standing in their old spot in the park.One more photo below.
