 EFCC  Moves to  Re-arraign National Assembly Directors for Alleged N337m Fraud   The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,  on Monday June 8, 2026 sought to re-arraign the trio of Aishatu Bappa El-Nafaty, Mamud Alhaji Abubakar and Igba Ityoakura Joseph before Justice Muhammed Zubairu of the Federal Capital Territory, High Court, Jikwoyi, Abuja for fraud.   The first defendant, El-Nafaty is the Director, Public Affairs Department in the Directorate of Special Duties and Parliamentary Security, National Assembly, Abubakar, the second defendant is a former Permanent Secretary in the Services of the National Assembly, while the third defendant, Joseph is a Deputy Director of Procurement in the National Assembly. BOKO HARAM RAIDS 3 COMMUNITIES TODAY IN BORNO STATE,KILLING 25 PEOPLE.

           It was reported today that at least 25 people were killed by suspected Boko Haram Islamist militants in raids on yesterday monday afternoon and tuesday morning on three communities in Borno state.Fighters in pick-up trucks attacked the town of Dille and two smaller communities in the Askira/Uba area in Borno state about 250km {160 miles} south of Maiduguri the capital of Borno state and the epicenter of the insurgency.Vigilantes resisted the attack on Dille that came around 1pm local time.A police source who declined to be named said the attacks on the smaller nearby communities came early today tuesday.
