 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. BOKO HARAM ATTACKS MAIDUGURI,STATE CAPITAL OF BORNO STATE YESTERDAY.

       According to sources,suspected Boko Haram Insurgents attacked the outsirts of the state capital of Borno state Nigeria on friday,escalating their attacks these week in which more 150 people have been confirmed in these week attack.Hearvy gunfire was heard coming from the fringes of Maiduguri,the capital of Borno state,for about half an hour yesterday friday evening.A military source said the insurgents attacked a village on the edge of the city but they were repulsed.Before friday's attack on Maiduguri,gunmen killed nearly 50 people in a village on tuesday,rounded up and shot dead about 100 in Kukawa on wednesday and killed 12 in a dawn raid on another village on friday.Two suicide bombers killed at least 10 people along a highway on thursday.I am yet to receive casualty report of yesterday's attack.
