Alleged N69.15m Fraud: Witness Tells Court He Paid for Property Not Owned by Blessing CEO At the continuation of the trial of social media influencer Blessing Nkiruka, (a.k.aBlessing CEO), on Monday, October 12, 2026, a prosecution witness, PW1, Dr Onuoha Okeigwe, told Justice R. A. Oshodi of the Special Offences Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos, how he paid N69,150,000 for a five-year lease of a property allegedly represented to him as belonging to the influencer. Blessing CEO was arraigned by the Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on June 9, 2026, on a two-count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretence and stealing, involving N69,150,000. Kazeem-and-Zainab Poisoned                                             The incident happened on friday at about 7:am in Lemode area of Ogun state.The baby Zainab Olajide who was 41 days old has been poisoned by her own father identified as Kazeem Olajide,in attempt to divorce his wife.According to sources,the mother Abosede Ogundare,had left Zainab with Kazeem to sweep the compound only to come back and met the baby with foams gushing out from her mouth.It was learnt that Ogundare alerted neighbours to the incident having found a bottle containing pesticide with her husband.The baby Zainab was said to have been rushed to a hospital in the community,where she eventually died.The suspect,who hails from Abeokuta,Ogun state,attempted to flee,but was held by residents,while the landlord of the house reported the case to the monarch of the community,Oba Solomon Sokunbi.It was gathered that the father was handed over to the policemen at the Agbado Police Division after he confessed to the crime before the monarch.A resident,who identified himself only as Biodun,said Kazeem had been threatening to divorce his wife before the baby's untimely death.
