  Tragedy Strikes As Promising Councillor Hon. Chukwuma Okpalauzuegbu Is Laid To Rest On Intended wedding Day  By Charity Ejiofor  A day that was meant to mark a joyful union has instead become one of deep sorrow for family, friends, and the Aguata community, following the sudden passing of Hon. Chukwuma Christopher Okpalauzuegbu, the councillor representating Amesi Ward. Hon. Okpalauzuegbu fondly known as Chuma, had been preparing to celebrate his wedding ceremony, an event filled with hope, promise and carefully laid plans. Loved ones, and sponsors, ready to stand beside him as he embark on a new chapter of life. In an unexpected and heart breaking turn of events, those dreams were cut short.                     The Nigerian police is really working as a Police Patrol team attached to the Ajegunle Division while on patrol along Iba road on the 19th of July,2015 at about 12:40pm intercepted an armed robbery gang attacking a male victim at the C-Best Filling Station,Onikade area Iba.One of the hoodlums{a male} was arrested at the scene and one locally made pistol with live cartridges were recovered from him.Other gang members fled the scene on a motorcycle reg.LSD-100-QF.The victim was safely rescued from the hoodlums,efforts to apprehend the fleeing suspects are being intensified.Wow i am impressed with our Nigerian police.
