 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken.                       Today wednesday it was reported that around 12:30pm,there was another shark attack at Ocracoke Beach,in Hyde County North Carolina.Though the Hyde County's Twitter page says the incident happened around 12:10pm and the victim is being flown off the island for medical treatment.Last week,two shark bites occured in Dare County,one in Rodanthe and the other in Avon.Friday last week,a 47 year old Charlotte man was injured about a mile north of the Avon fishing Pier when he was bitten in the back by a shark.The man was reportedly swimming with others when the incident occurred.Witnesses say the man thought the sharks were dolphins.He suffered various injuries to his right leg and lower back.He was treated at the scene and then transported by ambulance and helicopter to Norfolk General Hospital in Virginia for his injuries.The next day,a 17 year old boy was swimming with several others when the shark bit him along the beach in Rodanthe.He sustained serious injuries to his right calf,buttocks and both hands.He was also transported to Norfolk General Hospital in Virginia for his injuries.One more photos below.
