 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026. TB JOSHUA,TO FACE PROSECUTION FOR THE 116 PEOPLE THAT DIED IN LAST YEAR'S COLLAPSE-CORONER.

             Yesterday wednesday,a Coroner Oyetade Komolafe,concluded that T B Joshua's church Lagos Synagogue Church of All Nations {SCOAN}at Ikotu,should be prosecuted after a building collapsed and killed 116 people,most of them are identified as South African nationals.The Coroner said that ''The church must be investigated and prosecuted for not obtaining the relevant approval before embarking on the construction of the building.The church was culpable because of criminal negligence resulting in the death of the victims''.The Coroner's inquest was called to determine the circumstances of the collapse of the guest house for foreign followers of Joshua's Church on September 12,2014.Eighty one of the dead were South African visitors to the Lagos church.Though TB Joshua claimed the collapse was a sabotage,experts ruled out sabotage and said from their investigation,the guest house did not have permission and that the extra floors were being added to the building illegally.The Coroner also dismissed Joshua's claims in his ruling,which recorded that the victims likely died from multiple injuries,including fractured skulls,caused by the collapse.''The collapse was as a result of structural failures''.The Coroner also called for the prosecution of two engineers used by the church.The Coroner said further that the 32 witnesses called,Joshua was the only one that didn't turn up.''Among the individuals and organisations summoned,only Prophet TB Joshua refused to testify''.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
