In a blog post that has now been published by many international media organisations, in an apparent well-coordinated public relations effort, Binance Chief Executive Officer Richard Teng made false allegations of bribery against unidentified Nigerian government officials who he claimed demanded $150m in cryptocurrency payments to resolve the ongoing criminal investigation against the company.  This claim by Binance CEO lacks any iota of substance. It is nothing but a diversionary tactic and an attempted act of blackmail by a company desperate to obfuscate the grievous criminal charges it is facing in Nigeria.                       The Synagogue Church of All Nation {SCOAN},today rejects the verdict of the Coroner on the grounds that it is unreasonable,one sided and biased.In a statement posted on their facebook page,it said '' The Synagogue Church of All Nations {SCOAN} rejects the verdict of the coroner on the grounds that it is unreasonable,one sided and biases.The Church maintains its stand that the incident was as a result of sabotage.We repeat no matter how long a lie sustained,the truth will someday prevail''.This facebook statement was posted today,a day after Lagos state Coroner Oyetade Komolafe said yesterday wednesday that Shoddy construction and weak foundations led to the collapse of a guest house owned by the church September 12,2014.116 people died as a result of the building collapse.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
