NAF INTENSIFIES AIRPOWER CAMPAIGN, STRENGTHENS AIR PRESENCE IN SOKOTO TO DENY TERRORISTS FREEDOM OF ACTION The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has intensified its airpower campaign against terrorism, banditry, kidnapping and other criminal activities across the North-West, with a strengthened air presence in Sokoto State to support ongoing joint security operations. The initiative reflects the Service’s determination to sustain pressure on hostile elements, enhance aerial surveillance and maintain the capacity for rapid response to emerging threats, while providing effective air support to ground forces operating within the Joint Operations Area. The strengthened air presence is particularly significant in the fight against asymmetric threats, where terrorists and bandits exploit difficult terrain, mobility and concealment to evade ground forces. The Synagogue Church of All Nation {SCOAN},today rejects the verdict of the Coroner on the grounds that it is unreasonable,one sided and biased.In a statement posted on their facebook page,it said '' The Synagogue Church of All Nations {SCOAN} rejects the verdict of the coroner on the grounds that it is unreasonable,one sided and biases.The Church maintains its stand that the incident was as a result of sabotage.We repeat no matter how long a lie sustained,the truth will someday prevail''.This facebook statement was posted today,a day after Lagos state Coroner Oyetade Komolafe said yesterday wednesday that Shoddy construction and weak foundations led to the collapse of a guest house owned by the church September 12,2014.116 people died as a result of the building collapse.
