 ENUGU STATE POLICE COMMAND PRESS RELEASE ENUGU POLICE SECURE CONVICTION OF PHONE SNATCHER, WHO IS SENTENCED TO THREE AND FIVE YEARS’ IMPRISONMENT CONCURRENTLY; ANOTHER SUSPECT REMANDED FOR SHOPLIFTING The Enugu State Police Command has secured the conviction of a male phone snatcher, who was sentenced to three years’ imprisonment for conspiracy and five years for robbery, with both sentences to run concurrently. In a separate case, another male suspect was arraigned and remanded for allegedly stealing alcoholic beverages from a popular supermarket in Enugu. The cases, handled by the New Haven Police Division, underscore the Command’s commitment to professional policing, thorough investigations and diligent prosecution of criminal cases.
