 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. 6 DEAD,OVER 30 WOUNDED AS A 14 YEAR OLD DETONATED A BOMB IN DAMATURU MOTOR PARK TODAY.

                        Early today tuesday morning,a suicide female bomber,detonated an explosive device strapped to her body in Damaturu ,killing five people and injured about 30 people.The Nigeria Police spokesperson Toyin Gbadegesin said ''At about 7:40am,a female suicide bomber about 14 year old detonated an explosive device at the central Damaturu motor park.Six people were killed including the suicide bomber''.An official at the state emergency management agency Idi Musa Jigawa,said the suicide bomber tried to enter the motor park,or bus station,and was accosted by civilian vigilantes.She then pulled away and set off the bomb.six people were critically wounded and another 22 had minor injuries.No one claimed the bomb attack but all fingers are being pointed to the Islamist group Boko Haram.One more photo below.
