 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. A POLICEMAN LUKAS ABASHI,CRUSHED TO DEATH BY A TANKER YESTERDAY IN APAPA LAGOS.

               A police sergeant attached to the Taskforce for dismantling tanker traffic in Apapa area of Lagos was yesterday tuesday crushed to death by a tanker.The spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command,DSP Patricia Amadin,confirmed the incident to NAN,today wednesday.She said the deceased was identified as Lukas Abashi,and the driver of the vehicle with Reg No.ANC 66XA escaped after the accident.She said the policeman died at the spot after tanker ran over him.The driver attempted to escape with the vehicle,but for the intervention of other members of the taskforce who used motorcycles to pursue him.She said the policeman was on official duty as at the time of the accident,adding that the tanker has the inscription TOTAL.The body of the police man had been deposited in the mortuary,while the tanker was taken to a police station in Apapa.She further said that the police were still trailing the driver.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
