  Oshiomhole Convinced Us To Make Obaseki Governor – Philip Shaibu Philip Shaibu, the former Deputy Governor of Edo State, has disclosed that his choice to support his former boss, Godwin Obaseki, stemmed from his respect for Adams Oshiomhole, the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). According to Naija News, Shaibu shared his doubts about Obaseki during an interview on Channels Television’s Political Paradigm program on Tuesday. Shaibu admitted that he lacked confidence in Obaseki's leadership even before they took office on November 12, 2016. He explained that despite his initial hesitations, he ultimately backed Obaseki out of respect and based on the assurances provided by Oshiomhole. He stated, “Obaseki is not a politician. We made him governor because Oshiomhole persuaded us.                                                        Today wednesday,National Enquirer published the late 22 year old Bobbi Kristina Brown's last known photo showing Whitney Houstons daughter on her death bed in the final days of her life.The image was on their cover of their magazine and it shows Bobbi Kristina lying unconscious under a blanket in her ed at the Peachtree Christian Hospice in Georgia.Bobbi Kristina had been in a medically induced coma since January 31 2015,when she was discovered unconscious in her bathtub.In Jun,as hope for her recovery faded,her family decided to move her to the hospice facility in Georgia.The magazine cover also features a smaller photo of Whitney Houston in her casket in 2012 after her own drowning to death.According to the article accompanying the shocking image,the last photographs of Bobbi Kristina was taken just days before her passing July 26.The identity of photographer remains unknown and there is no word on whether the person who took the picture was given permission to do so.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. The Appellant is an actor. He acted in a script that he was invited to act by his colleague (PW1), Damilola Adekoya,” he said.
