 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. PEOPLE OF ILE-IFE,SHOCKED THAT THE ORO RITES FOR THE LATE OONI,WAS EXTENDED TO TODAY SATURDAY.

               According to some residents in Ile-Ife today saturday said that the palace town criers were going round the town announcing that residents especially commercial drivers and motorcyclists should stay indoors between 7a.m and 6pm.That will enable the Oro deity perform the necessary rite for the late Ooni of Ife.It was gathered that the Head of the Oro cult in Ife,the Awara of Iwara,Oba Layi Adereti had ordered the curfew,warning that anyone who flouted the order,irrespective of age or gender would face its consequences.However,residents were apprehensive of the curfew,that they rushed to the few available markets to get essentials that will last them for the day.Since last week friday,major market in Ife had been shut down ever since the burial rites started.As a result of the curfew,some Heads of Departments in the Obafemi Aolowo University,Ile-Ife cancelled the continuous assessment tests for their students earlier scheduled to hold on today saturday.Many residents as well as the Okada riders had thought the mourning period would end yesterday August 21,but they were surprised when they heard the stay at home order extends till today.More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
