Oba of Lagos Lends Support to EFCC in Fight against Corruption The Oba of Lagos, His Royal Majesty, Oba Rilwan Babatunde Osuolale Aremu Akiolu I, has assured the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, of the full support and commitment of the state’s traditional institution in the fight against corruption and other economic and financial crimes. He gave the assurance on Thursday, April 30, 2026, in Lagos while receiving the Acting Zonal Director of the EFCC , Lagos Zonal Directorate 2, ACE1 Bawa Usman Kaltungo, who led a delegation of top officers of the Commission on a courtesy visit to his palace. Congratulation to Pastor Naziri and Barrister Adelarin Waziri,who got married yesterday saturday the 15th of August 2015 at the Chapel of the Healing Cross Idi-Araba Surulere Lagos,and the reception took place at the Peacock Hall Island club 3 Island Road Onikan Lagos.Adelarin Bammeke,was my classmate in LASU,we both studied law and is been like 8 years i saw her last.The wedding was like a re-union for everybody that attended and the wedding was packed with Judges,Lawyers,Doctors and other reputable fields of life.I must commend the decorator of the hall,because i thought i was in a mini heaven,i will always pinch myself and my car keys do remind me that i am still on planet earth.Her gown fits her like a glove and the colour of the day ''Gold and Peach'',was just perfect.Not to say much,just watch the few pictures i snapped below.
