 GOVERNOR UZODIMMA CALLS FOR LOVE, UNITY, HIGHLIGHTS PROGRESS IN IMO STATE  In his Easter message delivered after the Holy Eucharist at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Parish in Omuma, Oru East LGA, His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma CON, emphasized the central theme of the Easter season — Love. The Governor called on citizens to extend the spirit of Easter beyond mere celebration, encouraging them to embody love, unity, and compassion in their daily interactions and civic responsibilities. He commended the people of Imo State for their steadfast commitment to these virtues and urged continued efforts to promote a caring and united society.                             Congratulation to Pastor Naziri and Barrister Adelarin Waziri,who got married yesterday saturday the 15th of August 2015 at the Chapel of the Healing Cross Idi-Araba Surulere Lagos,and the reception took place at the Peacock Hall Island club 3 Island Road Onikan Lagos.Adelarin Bammeke,was my classmate in LASU,we both studied law and is been like 8 years i saw her last.The wedding was like a re-union for everybody that attended and the wedding was packed with Judges,Lawyers,Doctors and other reputable fields of life.I must commend the decorator of the hall,because i thought i was in a mini heaven,i will always pinch myself and my car keys do remind me that i am still on planet earth.Her gown fits her like a glove and the colour of the day ''Gold and Peach'',was just perfect.Not to say much,just watch the few pictures i snapped below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. The Appellant is an actor. He acted in a script that he was invited to act by his colleague (PW1), Damilola Adekoya,” he said.
