 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. THE OWNER OF THE PARK IN ZIMBABWE,WHERE CECIL THE LION WAS KILLED,WAS ARRESTED.

               The owner of the Hwange National game park Honest Dlovu,where Cecil the Lion was killed,his being accused of letting an American tourist/Dentist  Walter Palmer to illegally hunt and kill a lion on his property in Zimbabwe with a bow and arrow.The owner of the park was charged but released on bail in Hwange.The killing of Cecil,a 13 year old rare blacked maned lion and a popular tourist attraction,caused global consternation and triggered a major backlash against Africa's multi-million dollar hunting industry.From the copy of the charge sheet,Honest Dlovu was charged with permitting ''A person who is not ordinarily resident in Zimbabwe to hunt the said animal which was not on the hunting quota''.One more photo below.
