  Oshiomhole Convinced Us To Make Obaseki Governor – Philip Shaibu Philip Shaibu, the former Deputy Governor of Edo State, has disclosed that his choice to support his former boss, Godwin Obaseki, stemmed from his respect for Adams Oshiomhole, the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). According to Naija News, Shaibu shared his doubts about Obaseki during an interview on Channels Television’s Political Paradigm program on Tuesday. Shaibu admitted that he lacked confidence in Obaseki's leadership even before they took office on November 12, 2016. He explained that despite his initial hesitations, he ultimately backed Obaseki out of respect and based on the assurances provided by Oshiomhole. He stated, “Obaseki is not a politician. We made him governor because Oshiomhole persuaded us.               Popular Television host Oprah Gail Winfrey,was born in the rural town of Kosciusko Mississippi on January 29 1954.As a child,Oprah Winfrey was sexually abused by a number of male relatives and friends of her mother Vernita.She moved to Nashville to live with her father Vernon,a barber and a business man.She entered Tennessee state University in 1971 and began working in radio and television broad casting in Nashville.In 1976 Oprah moved to Baltimore,where she hosted a hit television chat show ''People Are Talking''.Afterward she was recruited by a Chicago TV station to host her own morning show A.M Chicago.She later became the host of her own show ''The Oprah Winfrey Show'',which aired for 25 seasons,from 1986 to 2011.That same year Oprah Winfrey launched her TV network ''The Oprah Winfrey Network''.Till date,she is highly respected all over the world.Must adults that molest children are called the real enemy of progress because their aim is to destroy the life of that child and render that child useless,but i thank God for Oprah's life,she is an example of grass to grace.Today throw back photos,is celebrating Oprah Winfrey's childhood.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. The Appellant is an actor. He acted in a script that he was invited to act by his colleague (PW1), Damilola Adekoya,” he said.
