 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026. 100 DEAD,50 INJURED AS A FUEL TANKER EXPLODED IN SOUTH SUDAN YESTERDAY.

                      Yesterday wednesday more than 100 people were killed in South Sudan after an oil truck exploded as a crowed tried to gather fuel from the vehicle after it had veered off the road .According to Charles Kisagna,the minister of information in Western Equatoria,said 50 people were seriously injured.''We don't have medical equipment and these people may not survive because we do not have the facilities to treat the highly burnt people.The truck had been traveling from the capital Juba to the Western Equatoria area.Such incidents have happened before in the east African region where fuel tankers often have to travel long distances along potholed roads and pass through poor communities''.
