 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. 22 HOUSES,WASHED AWAY YESTERDAY IN ABUJA AFTER A VERY HEAVY RAIN FALL.

              Today tuesday,victims of yesterday flood in Abuja spoke with NAN that the rainfall yesterday monday night flooded their houses and washed away valuable property.One of the victims,Blessing Samuel,said that she narrowly survived when the house she was living in with her child collapsed.''My child and i were sleeping at about 4:00am.When we woke up,we saw water everywhere in the room.All i could think of is my child.I rushed and picked my baby and immediately went out of the building and saw the house collapsing''.22 houses were destroyed by the flood.Mr Ibrahim Daniel,the council's Chairman,who visited the flood scene and sympathised with the victims,advised the residents against dumping refuse inside drains.Daniel who promised  to assist the people,said he would report the matter to the appropriate authority for further action.The flood took place at Sheda in Kwali Area council of the FCT.They are also calling on National Emergency Management Agency {NEMA} to assist them.
