 FG MOVES TO CUT EDUCATION COSTS, PROMOTE SUSTAINABILITY WITH REUSABLE TEXTBOOK POLICY The Federal Government of Nigeria has unveiled a comprehensive policy framework aimed at reducing the cost of education for parents, improving learning outcomes, and promoting sustainability in schools through the adoption of reusable, high-quality textbooks and strengthened quality assurance mechanisms. The policy, jointly issued by the Honourable Minister of Education  Dr Maruf Tunji Alausa and the Honourable Minister of State for Education Prof Suiwaba Sai'd, forms part of ongoing reforms to reposition Nigeria’s education sector and ease the financial burden on families. The Ministers explained that the policy prioritises the use of standardised, durable textbooks designed to last between four and six years, while expressly prohibiting the bundling of disposable workbooks with textbooks in schools. 22 HOUSES,WASHED AWAY YESTERDAY IN ABUJA AFTER A VERY HEAVY RAIN FALL.

              Today tuesday,victims of yesterday flood in Abuja spoke with NAN that the rainfall yesterday monday night flooded their houses and washed away valuable property.One of the victims,Blessing Samuel,said that she narrowly survived when the house she was living in with her child collapsed.''My child and i were sleeping at about 4:00am.When we woke up,we saw water everywhere in the room.All i could think of is my child.I rushed and picked my baby and immediately went out of the building and saw the house collapsing''.22 houses were destroyed by the flood.Mr Ibrahim Daniel,the council's Chairman,who visited the flood scene and sympathised with the victims,advised the residents against dumping refuse inside drains.Daniel who promised  to assist the people,said he would report the matter to the appropriate authority for further action.The flood took place at Sheda in Kwali Area council of the FCT.They are also calling on National Emergency Management Agency {NEMA} to assist them.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
