 71-year-old landlord arrested for impregnating tenant’s teenage daughter The Ogun State Police Command said it had arrested a septuagenarian landlord, identified simply as Adesina, for allegedly defiling and impregnating his tenant’s 14-year-old girl (name withheld) at Akegbeyale Street in Ifesowapo Akute, Ifo Local Government Area of the state. PUNCH Metro learnt that the residents and other tenants were thrown into a state of shock when the septuagenarian suspect was found on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, having sexual intercourse with the 14-year-old girl at about 10:15 pm in the house bathroom. The minor, according to a police source who was part of the team that arrested the 71-year-old suspect but was not permitted to speak for the command, was said to have made her way to the apartment’s bathroom to take a shower.                    According to a police spokesperson Victor Isuku in Maiduguri,said today monday that late yesterday sunday evening''A suspected Boko Haram suicide bomber detonated IEDs {Improvised explosive devices} at a mosque in Ajilari and some insurgents also threw IEDs at a viewing center.Total casualty figure is now 54''.A Nigerian army spokesman also confirmed the attacks saying ''On sunday three bombs had gone off''.I am just praying for the day all these bombings will stop.Actually 54 people died and 90 people were confirmed wounded.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
