 Texas woman charged with medical child abuse for falsifying toddler’s health and pushing unnecessary feeding tube surgeries A Texas woman has been charged with medical child abuse after allegedly falsifying her toddler’s medical history to pressure doctors into performing unnecessary procedures, including feeding tube surgeries, in what authorities are calling a “sickening” case. Kaitlyn Rose Laura, 31, faces charges of injury to a child and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Officials said she deliberately misled medical staff about her 3-year-old son’s health to obtain a gastrostomy tube and later a gastrojejunostomy tube, despite no documented medical need. Investigators allege that hospital staff observed the boy eating normally while Laura claimed he refused all food. Covert surveillance confirmed the child was able to eat meals without difficulty, prompting authorities to stop tube feedings. 74 SOLAR POWERED TRAFFIC LIGHT,TO BE INAUGURATED BY OSINBAJO IN FEW DAYS TIME.

                                          On the 18th of September 2015,74 solar powered traffic lights in the Federal Capital Territory will be inaugurated by the Vice President of Nigeria Yemi Osinbajo.Mr Ifeanyi Ughamadu,Head of Public Relations of the secretariat,made this known in an interview with the NAN today monday in Abuja.He said that the traffic lights to be inaugurated by the Vice President were donated by the Chinese Government.''Sometime in 2012,the Federal Government had this offer of assistance from the Chinese Government to construct and install 74 solar powered traffic lights.The traffic lights were to be installedin parts of Abuja as bilateral assistance at the cost of N830 million as part of their corporate social responsibility.The contract which began in March 2015,was executed by Messers Poly Solar Technologies Beijing Limited,and was completed in July,2015.Though the FCTA did not bear any part of the contract cost,our engineers were on ground to supervise the job and ensure effective execution.The assistance came on the heels of an Afro Chinese Conference in Beijing 2012,where the Federal Government,through the National Planning Commission,requested for the assistance.FCTA still requires similar support to upgrade 90 more traffic lights into solar power for efficiency because there will be no interruption due to disruption in public power supply.Fifty five of the traffic intersections are in the city centre,11 in Kubwa and nine in Gwarinpa''

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
