 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. 74 SOLAR POWERED TRAFFIC LIGHT,TO BE INAUGURATED BY OSINBAJO IN FEW DAYS TIME.

                                          On the 18th of September 2015,74 solar powered traffic lights in the Federal Capital Territory will be inaugurated by the Vice President of Nigeria Yemi Osinbajo.Mr Ifeanyi Ughamadu,Head of Public Relations of the secretariat,made this known in an interview with the NAN today monday in Abuja.He said that the traffic lights to be inaugurated by the Vice President were donated by the Chinese Government.''Sometime in 2012,the Federal Government had this offer of assistance from the Chinese Government to construct and install 74 solar powered traffic lights.The traffic lights were to be installedin parts of Abuja as bilateral assistance at the cost of N830 million as part of their corporate social responsibility.The contract which began in March 2015,was executed by Messers Poly Solar Technologies Beijing Limited,and was completed in July,2015.Though the FCTA did not bear any part of the contract cost,our engineers were on ground to supervise the job and ensure effective execution.The assistance came on the heels of an Afro Chinese Conference in Beijing 2012,where the Federal Government,through the National Planning Commission,requested for the assistance.FCTA still requires similar support to upgrade 90 more traffic lights into solar power for efficiency because there will be no interruption due to disruption in public power supply.Fifty five of the traffic intersections are in the city centre,11 in Kubwa and nine in Gwarinpa''

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
