 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. A DRIVER GANIYU,IMPREGNATED HIS NEIGHBOUR'S 16 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER IN MEIRAN LAGOS STATE.

                         According to the Prosecutor,Sgt Jimah Iseghede,who told an Ikeja Magistrate court today tuesday that 45 year old driver Ganiyu Afolabi,who lives at No.9,Ayinde close,Meiran Lagos state,alleged that Ganiyu had called in the 16 year old gilr to his room under the pretext of sending her on an errand and he defiled her in the process.When the 16 year old victim told the accused that she had missed her monthly flow,he procured a drug for her to use but the girl told her mother and the accused was apprehended.The accused Ganiyu is now facing a three count charge of sexual assault,defilement and attempt to procure abortion.The alleged offences were committed sometime in May 2015 at the accused residence.Though the accused Ganiyu,pleaded not guilty to all the charges.The Chief Magistrate Mr Tajudeen Elias,ordered that the accused Ganiyu should be held in prison custody until September 9 2015,when the court would deliver its ruling on his bail application.
