 Nigeria's Defence Minister Summons Service Chiefs Amid Surge in Attacks on Military Bases Nigeria's Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (Rtd), has urgently summoned the nation's top military leaders to a high-level meeting at the Ministry of Defence headquarters in Abuja. The session addresses the escalating attacks targeting military installations, particularly in the North East region. The meeting includes key figures such as: - Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede - Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Waidi Shaibu - Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke - Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Idi Abass - Representatives from the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) The summons comes in response to recent deadly assaults by terrorists on military bases in the North East. A MEDICAL EVACUATION PLANE WITH 7 PEOPLE,DISAPPEARED YESTERDAY NIGHT OFF SENEGAL COAST.

                 According to the Senegalese civil aviation authority said to day sunday that a medical evacuation plane with seven people on board,including a French patient,disappeared off the coast of Senegal yesterday saturday night,during a flight from Burkina Faso to Darkar.The private Senegal air plane from Ouagadougou disappeared from radar screens at 7:08pm west of Dakar.The army has sent out two planes and a naval vessel to look for the plane.The plane was carrying three crew members,a doctor and two nurses as well as the patient.Those on board included two Algerians and a citizen of Congo,although the aviation authority did not specify whether this meant the Democratic Republic of Congo or Republic of Congo.The plane,chartered by SOS Medicin Senegal ,had left Ouagadougou at 4:30pm.
