 Guinea-Bissau bans 'unauthorised' press conferences to avoid 'violence' Guinea-Bissau's government on Friday announced it was banning all unauthorised press conferences and public statements, some six weeks after coming to power in a post-election coup. After ousting leader Umaro Sissoco Embalo on November 26, just after the presidential vote, the army suspended the electoral process and announced it was taking control of the West African country for one year. On Friday, the High Military Command, the country’s governing body, said in a statement "some individuals and ethnic groups, particularly political figures, have promoted secret meetings and used those to incite violence and disobedience", including to the country's transitional charter. The charter was published in early December and is intended to provide a legal framework for the country's period under military rule. ABOUT 40 MIGRANTS INCLUDING SOME NIGERIANS,DROWNED IN THE SEA OFF LIBYA.

                             According to an emailed statement to day friday by the International Organization for Migration Spokesman Flavio di Giacomo said about 30-40 people drowned in the Mediterranean after a dingy carrying 120-140 Somalis,Sudanese and Nigerians deflated,causing panic on board.The migrants had sailed from Mistrata in Libya,but after 6-7 hours their boat began to deflate and some people fell into the water.There were 91 survivors.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
