 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. ABOUT 40 MIGRANTS INCLUDING SOME NIGERIANS,DROWNED IN THE SEA OFF LIBYA.

                             According to an emailed statement to day friday by the International Organization for Migration Spokesman Flavio di Giacomo said about 30-40 people drowned in the Mediterranean after a dingy carrying 120-140 Somalis,Sudanese and Nigerians deflated,causing panic on board.The migrants had sailed from Mistrata in Libya,but after 6-7 hours their boat began to deflate and some people fell into the water.There were 91 survivors.
