 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service. AT LEAST 5 PEOPLE DIED,AFTER A CAR BOMB EXPLODED IN SOMALIA TODAY.

             Today monday,the police in Somalia's capital Mogadishu said at least five people were killed when a car bomb exploded close to the presidential palace.There was no immediate claim of responsibility from the Islamist militant group al Shabaab,the group that have been trying to overthrow President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud's Western backed government.The group stepped up attacks this month,retaking a town in the central region and attacking African Union troops.
