 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. HORSE OR DONKEY RIDES,BANNED IN BORNO STATE BY THE NIGERIAN ARMY.

                It was reported yesterday by sources that horse riding and donkeys in Borno state,has been outlawed by the Nigerian military because of the recent attack strategy by the Islamist militant group Boko Haram.The Boko Haram have started attacking innocent people and villages on horseback.The military communicated the decision through the Shehu of Borno,Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai El-Kanemi.Last week,Boko Haram members on horseback killed over 80 people in three villages of the state,with similar attacks also reported in other past of the north east region.It was against this that the military said {A resident reported speech} ''Issued a ban on horse riding and the Shehu {of Borno} gathered us all and informed us of the decision.He told us that despite the fact that the people of Borno have been known with riding horses,that should be stopped henceforth.If the soldiers spotted anyone on horse back,they cannot determine his true identity''.
