 A Mother's Day Nightmare in Princeton, Illinois. A 3-year-old boy was struck by gunfire as police burst into a barricaded room, ending a frightening hostage situation. Multiple agencies responded to the Hummingbird Mobile Home Park in Princeton, Illinois, on Sunday, May 10th at 2:42 a.m. The initial call went out as a domestic disturbance but officers discovered much worse.  42-year-old, Anthony Rodriguez, had barricaded himself in a room armed with a knife. Anthony had taken several people as hostages, including Aurora Almanza and her 3-year-old son.  Multiple agencies were on the scene, including the Bureau County Sheriff's Office, Illinois State Police and  the Princeton Police Department.  Authorities attempted to negotiate but ultimately rushed the room when they heard screaming coming from inside.  Officials have reported that officers fired shots as they entered the room. HORSE OR DONKEY RIDES,BANNED IN BORNO STATE BY THE NIGERIAN ARMY.

                It was reported yesterday by sources that horse riding and donkeys in Borno state,has been outlawed by the Nigerian military because of the recent attack strategy by the Islamist militant group Boko Haram.The Boko Haram have started attacking innocent people and villages on horseback.The military communicated the decision through the Shehu of Borno,Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai El-Kanemi.Last week,Boko Haram members on horseback killed over 80 people in three villages of the state,with similar attacks also reported in other past of the north east region.It was against this that the military said {A resident reported speech} ''Issued a ban on horse riding and the Shehu {of Borno} gathered us all and informed us of the decision.He told us that despite the fact that the people of Borno have been known with riding horses,that should be stopped henceforth.If the soldiers spotted anyone on horse back,they cannot determine his true identity''.
