 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. HORSE OR DONKEY RIDES,BANNED IN BORNO STATE BY THE NIGERIAN ARMY.

                It was reported yesterday by sources that horse riding and donkeys in Borno state,has been outlawed by the Nigerian military because of the recent attack strategy by the Islamist militant group Boko Haram.The Boko Haram have started attacking innocent people and villages on horseback.The military communicated the decision through the Shehu of Borno,Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai El-Kanemi.Last week,Boko Haram members on horseback killed over 80 people in three villages of the state,with similar attacks also reported in other past of the north east region.It was against this that the military said {A resident reported speech} ''Issued a ban on horse riding and the Shehu {of Borno} gathered us all and informed us of the decision.He told us that despite the fact that the people of Borno have been known with riding horses,that should be stopped henceforth.If the soldiers spotted anyone on horse back,they cannot determine his true identity''.
