 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. IS OFFICIAL,LASU MALE STAFFS ARE NOW GRANTED 10 DAYS PATERNITY LEAVE.

                           This is contained in the Lagos State University {LASU}official bulletin,a copy of which was made available to NAN.It noted that while deserving female members of staff of the institution had been proceeding on maternity leave,their male counterparts were yet to enjoy it.''The university authority hereby reminds members of staff {male} of the existing Lagos State Maternity and Paternity leave approved for employees in the state's civil service.It would be recalled that the university authority at its meeting on Sept.8,2014,considered and approved the implementation of the new Lagos state maternity and paternity leave for officials in the state's public service.The male members of staff who wish to make official request for paternity leave are to do so on the first day of delivery of the baby.In addition,for deliveries that fall on weekends,application should be forwarded to the establishment on the first day of work.Please not that paternity leave is for the first 10 days in relation to and at the time of the first two deliveries of a male staff's spouse''

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
