 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. NIGERIAN UNION OF JOURNALIST,PLANS TO DISRUPT THISDAY EVENT TOMORROW FOR NON PAYMENT OF SALARIES.

                 In a statement by the National President of Nigerian Union of Journalists {NUJ},Waheed Odusile said today friday in Lagos that the publisher of Thisday,Mr Nduka Obaigbena,had been notified,and that if the management failed to effect the payment of their outstanding salaries by 2pm today friday September 4,2015,the union would disrupt the organisation's 20th anniversary celebration.According to NAN's report,the anniversary celebration is scheduled to hold on saturday,September 5,at the Eko Hotels and Suites,Victoria Island,Lagos.The statement said that the letter sent to Obaigbenna on wednesday,noted that the action would take place with the full backing of the Nigeria Labour Congress.''There is no going back on the disruption of the company's 20th anniversary celebration except the flamboyant publisher pays his workers by 2pm on friday''.
