 Rep. John Larson files impeachment articles against Trump over Iran war threats     Rep. John Larson announced Tuesday that he has filed articles of impeachment against President Trump, citing the president’s recent social media post threatening to destroy a “whole civilization” if the Strait of Hormuz was not immediately reopened. Larson said Trump’s actions in the ongoing war in Iran are illegal and endangering American lives and the economy. The filing comes after Trump temporarily paused the strikes for two weeks following Pakistan’s request for an extended deadline to allow diplomatic efforts. Larson criticized Trump’s remarks, including his Easter Sunday post, as increasingly unstable and a threat to U.S. security. Seventy Democrats, including former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Sen. THE CHILD THAT WAS FOUND DEAD ON A TURKISH BEACH IN BODRUM,HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED.

                  The dead child was identified as three year old Syrian named Aylan Kurdi.Him and his family except his father Abdullah,died when the boat they are in capsized,on their way to Europe.His father Abdullah tried to save him as they struggle in the sea.His mother Rehan and his 5 year old brother Galip also died.His father was the only survivor from the family of four.Aylan's aunt Fatima Kurdi,who lives in Canada,said ''When the boat flipped upside down and the waves kept pushing down,those two boys were in his arms.He tried with all his power to push them up above the water to breath and they screamed Daddy please don't die.He tried to save the second one,Aylan,he looked at him and there was blood coming out from his eyes.So he closed his eyes and he let him go.He looked around for his wife,she was floating in the water.He said i tried with all my power to save them,i couldn't''.More photos below.                                            Fatima Kurdi and her family gave an emotional press conference outside her home in CanadaAbdullah Kurdi is comforted as he mourns the death of his family as they tried to make it into EuropeAbdullah delivered a speech during the funeral of his family in the Syrian border town of KobaneAylan's aunt Fatima Kurdi, who lives in Canada, said: 'When the boat flipped upside down and the waves kept pushing down, those two boys were in his arms,' she said through sobsPictures of Aylan and his family were laid out outside Fatima Kurdi's home in Canada as she spoke to the mediaThis picture of Aylan's washed up body on a beach in Bodrum sent shockwaves round the world

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
