COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action. Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice. The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026. The dead child was identified as three year old Syrian named Aylan Kurdi.Him and his family except his father Abdullah,died when the boat they are in capsized,on their way to Europe.His father Abdullah tried to save him as they struggle in the sea.His mother Rehan and his 5 year old brother Galip also died.His father was the only survivor from the family of four.Aylan's aunt Fatima Kurdi,who lives in Canada,said ''When the boat flipped upside down and the waves kept pushing down,those two boys were in his arms.He tried with all his power to push them up above the water to breath and they screamed Daddy please don't die.He tried to save the second one,Aylan,he looked at him and there was blood coming out from his eyes.So he closed his eyes and he let him go.He looked around for his wife,she was floating in the water.He said i tried with all my power to save them,i couldn't''.More photos below.
