 Man brutalises his pregnant wife in Anambra  In another case of domestic violence, a pregnant woman was brutally beaten by her husband in Ichi, Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State. The mother of three identified as Chinelo Francis, from Ebonyi State, said trouble began when she requested money from her husband, Peter, to prepare food.  According to the young woman, she had already bought vegetable with the profit she made from her shop. Peter, also from Ebonyi, claimed he didn’t make money that day and took the children home.  He returned to her shop at around 8:00 PM and insisted she close up and come home with him.  She refused, explaining that the time was when she typically made most of her sales.  Later, she closed up her shop, went home at 9:30 PM, prepared the children for bed, and retired. THE NIGERIAN ARMY,RELEASED 128 SUSPECTED BOKO HARAM MEMBERS TODAY IN BORNO STATE.

               Today wednesday,the Nigerian Army released 128 detainees after certifying that they had no likn with the Boko Haram terrorists group in Borno state.The Chief of Army Staff {COAS},Lt-Gen Tukur Buratai handed over the detainees to Governor Kashim Shettima at a ceremony in Maiduguri.He said that the detainees included 109 men,seven women,11 boys and one unattached teenager.He said that they were arrested at different parts of the state by the military in its anti terrorism campaign.Tukur said that after thorough screening by a team of military intelligence officers,the police and the Department of State Security Service {DSS,the suspects were found to be clean and were released.''We are here to formally hand over those arrested in the process of our operations.We are pleased to hand over the 128 suspects that have been cleared by the joint intelligent core,which comprised the Army,the police and DSS''.The COAS said that the action was an indication that the military was made up of highly trained officers,who believed in observing human right.''This is clear manifestation that the army is clearly professional.We will continue to emphasis that this terrorism will soon come to an end.We hve been supported by President Muhammadu Buhari,we are getting more equipment and we are getting more of our troops redeployed to the operation''.He commended the Borno government for its support for the military in the anti-terrorism war.
