 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. THERE IS A NEW PLAN TO ACCOMMODATE 160,000 MIGRANTS CURRENTLY IN ITALY,GREECE & HUNGARY.

               According to sources today said that European Commission President Jean Claude Juncker has introduced a plan t resettle around 160,000 migrants currently in Italy,Greece and Hungary.In a speech to the European Parliament in Strasbourg,Jean Claude Juncker called for solidarity from the European Union in responding to the influx of refugees from the Middle East and Africa.Britain opted out of an earlier relocation scheme foe 40,000 migrants launched in May.Jean Claude however urged all members states to adopt the Commission's new proposal to increase the migrant numbers.Members states of the political bloc are now expected to vote on the new proposal.
