 LAGOS TOURISM TO HOST NIGERIA'S BIGGEST SMEs TRADE FAIR WITH ₦5 BILLION SALES TARGET  •Aregbe reaffirms govt’s commitment to supporting local businesses, entrepreneurs The 2025 Lagos Tourism NBC Trade Fair is set to become Nigeria’s largest trade and commerce gathering, with an anticipated ₦5 billion in sales, over 220 vendors, and an expected 75,000 attendees in three days. The second edition of this partnership between Naija Brand Chick and Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture is focused on leveraging entertainment to further drive trade. The fair will take place from Friday, April 11, to Sunday, April 13, at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.                   Tommorow thursday,the President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari will welcome the President of Togo Faure Essozinma Gnassingbe at the Presidential Villa.Buhari and the visiting President will make remarks after the bi-lateral meetings.Though,i don't know if they are going to talk about the refugees that were deported on saturday from Lagos without proper notification,but what i know is that,a lot will be discussed that will benefit Togo and Nigeria.One more photo below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. The Appellant is an actor. He acted in a script that he was invited to act by his colleague (PW1), Damilola Adekoya,” he said.
