He also called for fervent prayers to avert imminent calamities. Ayodele, who gave the advice in an interview with Sunday Sun, said that criminal elements in the county are plotting to carry major attacks in some parts of the North and other states. His words: “Let us pray against a major security crisis in the North. I foresee bombing, shooting and a serious security crisis in the North especially in Kano. Today tuesday,the United States warns it citizens of a possible attack by extremists {Islamic militants}against U.S facilities or interests in South Africa.In a statement,the U.S embassy said it had no information about a specific target or timing,but advised U.S citizens to review their personal security plans and maintain their vigilance.A spokeswoman for the police in Gauteng the province that is home to both the U.S embassy in Pretoria and its consulate in Johannesburg,said she was unaware of the U.S warning.
