Refreshing your memory, Baba Ijesha was arrested and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for raping a minor, who is the adopted daughter of comedian Princess. Giving an update on the case in a recent interview, he said Baba Ijesha’s appeal process is still ongoing in court. He claimed that there was no evidence that he slept with the hole; hence, the judge didn’t sentence him to life imprisonment. Yomi stated that Princess called Baba Ijesha to shoot a skit, and the girl also made a similar statement in court. 4 AFRICAN MIGRANTS DROWNED,35 MISSING AFTER A BOAT SANK,NORTH OF MOROCCO YESTERDAY.

                            According to the Spanish sea rescue services,who said four African migrants drowned and up to 35 people were missing after their boat sank in the Mediterranean in the early hours of yesterday thursday around 40 miles north of the Moroccan coast.Lifeguards pulled four bodies from the sea after they were spotted by a Colombian military helicopter helping in the search.Earlier,15 people including two women were rescued from the boat after it lost its bottom and sank.They were found clinging to the wreckage,sea rescued services said.One of those rescued said there had been 54 people in the boat..The Mediterranean between Morocco and Spain was a major route around 10 years ago for migrants from Africa trying to reach Europe,but numbers fell after Spain increased patrols.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
