 Nicole Kidman recalls the heartbreaking moment she found out her mom died Nicole Kidman has opened up about the heartbreaking moment she learned of her mother Janelle’s death just as she was about to accept a best actress award at the Venice International Film Festival.  The Babygirl star recalled being backstage when she received the news, saying she returned to her room “completely devastated” and unsure how she would move forward without her mother, who had been such a central part of her life. She described the “harrowing” attempt to leave Venice in the middle of the night to return to Australia, only to turn back, overwhelmed and alone.  Director Halina Reijn later read a statement on Kidman’s behalf, dedicating the award to Janelle and acknowledging the collision of art and life in that painful moment. INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE,REWARDS SPORTSMEN/WOMEN IN THE POLICE FORCE.

                           In a bid to boost the morale of sportsmen and women in the Nigerian Police Force,the Inspector General of Police,IGP Solomon E.Arase,fdc,NPM has magnanimously promoted six policemen/women to their next ranks while the seventh officer was given accelerated promotion from Police Constable to the rank of Police Inspector.Addressing the sports ambassador of the Nigerian Police at the conference hall of the Police Force Headquarters,Abuja on October 14th 2015,the Deputy-Inspctor General of Police DIG Dan Azumi Job Doma,NPW,fwc,psc who stood in for IGP said,the IGP and the entire Nigeria Police Force is proud of the outstanding performances.He also said that they should shun drugs and any performance enhancing drugs,saying the application of such act is very embarrassing.
