 FG MOVES TO CUT EDUCATION COSTS, PROMOTE SUSTAINABILITY WITH REUSABLE TEXTBOOK POLICY The Federal Government of Nigeria has unveiled a comprehensive policy framework aimed at reducing the cost of education for parents, improving learning outcomes, and promoting sustainability in schools through the adoption of reusable, high-quality textbooks and strengthened quality assurance mechanisms. The policy, jointly issued by the Honourable Minister of Education  Dr Maruf Tunji Alausa and the Honourable Minister of State for Education Prof Suiwaba Sai'd, forms part of ongoing reforms to reposition Nigeria’s education sector and ease the financial burden on families. INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE,REWARDS SPORTSMEN/WOMEN IN THE POLICE FORCE.

                           In a bid to boost the morale of sportsmen and women in the Nigerian Police Force,the Inspector General of Police,IGP Solomon E.Arase,fdc,NPM has magnanimously promoted six policemen/women to their next ranks while the seventh officer was given accelerated promotion from Police Constable to the rank of Police Inspector.Addressing the sports ambassador of the Nigerian Police at the conference hall of the Police Force Headquarters,Abuja on October 14th 2015,the Deputy-Inspctor General of Police DIG Dan Azumi Job Doma,NPW,fwc,psc who stood in for IGP said,the IGP and the entire Nigeria Police Force is proud of the outstanding performances.He also said that they should shun drugs and any performance enhancing drugs,saying the application of such act is very embarrassing.
