Indian billionaire Gautam Adani charged in US for alleged bribery, fraud Gautam Adani, the chair of Indian conglomerate Adani Group and one of the world’s richest people, whose business empire extends from ports and airports to renewable energy,has been indicted in New York over an alleged multibillion-dollar fraud scheme, United States prosecutors have said. The authorities on Wednesday charged Adani and two other executives at Adani Green Energy, his nephew Sagar Adani and Vneet Jaain, with agreeing between 2020 and 2024 to pay more than $250m in bribes to Indian government officials to obtain solar energy supply contracts expected to yield $2bn in profits. Prosecutors said the renewable energy company also raised more than $3bn in loans and bonds during this period based on false and misleading statements. 19 year old Kendall Jenner said she is selling her old cloths and accessories on eBay to raise money for charity.Kendall Jenner put 30 designer pieces from her wardrobe on the site and prices ranges from 19 cents to $700.According Kendall Jenner who posted on her social media that a portion of the money raised will be donated to the children's Hospital in Los Angeles.Her sisters Kim,Kourtney and Khloe have been doing the same for years,though their charities are different.Kendall Jenner said the bidding will end on the 1st of of Novermber 2015.If you ask me,i prefer celebrities donating to charity without the press knowing about it,and they should not be relying on their old stuffs to raise money.That is my own view.More photos below.
