Refreshing your memory, Baba Ijesha was arrested and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for raping a minor, who is the adopted daughter of comedian Princess. Giving an update on the case in a recent interview, he said Baba Ijesha’s appeal process is still ongoing in court. He claimed that there was no evidence that he slept with the hole; hence, the judge didn’t sentence him to life imprisonment. Yomi stated that Princess called Baba Ijesha to shoot a skit, and the girl also made a similar statement in court. LIBYA AUTHORITIES BROUGHT OUT 29 DEAD BODIES OF MIGRANTS FROM THEIR BEACH TODAY.

                      According to the Red Crescent in Libya said 29 bodies thought to belong to migrants have been found on Libyan beaches around a city 160km east of Tripoli.Spokesperson Mohamed al-Misrati said that they had been informed of the bodies by local residents.A team was dispatched and 25 bodies were found,then later another four.No further details were disclosed on the nationalities of the deceased,but authorities in Tripoli reportedly say that they were from Africa.The Red Crescent was expecting to recover several more bodies this sunday,the press agency quoted Misrati as saying.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
